Thirsty Work for Carollers!

24 December 2007

Christmas carols rang out in Wellington pubs when members of  St John Fisher parish joined with Churches Together in Wellington.

The happy signers, representing the main Christian churches of the town, raised £185 for the Children’s Hospice South West.

Starting from the Eight Bells in High Street, the carolling party proceeded via the Kings Arms, The Victoria, The Vintage and The Cottage, to conclude with a great welcome at the Barley Mow in Rockwell Green from landlord Terry White and landlady Gill “GB” Butler.
