GL6 8AL
A special retreat for people aged from 20 to 35. The theme is ‘Mary, our mother: woman of hope’.
This group of 20 to 35 year-olds are meeting for a day’s retreat at the Monastery of Our Lady and St Bernard at Brownshill in Gloucestershire and would like to invite other young Catholics in the age group to join them.
The day will include time for peace, quiet, catechesis and confession, as well as a chance to pray and reflect on scripture; we will complete the day by celebrating Mass together.
Organiser Nicola Harris told
cliftondiocese.com: “It will be a good opportunity to meet and chat with other Catholics of a similar age; those of us who’ve met before really appreciated being able to do this.
“The monastery is in a beautiful, tranquil location and is ideal for spiritual reflection. We are planning a series of three day-retreats this year and our theme will be that of hope, beginning with a focus on Mary. We hope that you can join us or know someone who would benefit from this experience.”
