Vatican Hears Let Us Pod

Let Us Pod’ Clifton Diocese’s new audio series is the subject of a worldwide broadcast by Vatican Radio.

Vatican Radio’s journalist Sister Janet Fearns interviewed ‘Let Us Pod’ producer Mary Colwell following Wednesday’s (21 November) launch of the series exploring some of the biggest issues we all deal with in our lives.

The six-minute feature revealed the story behind Mary’s desire to create the podcasts and her hopes they will be of value to local Catholics and people from further a field.  

Vatican Radio broadcasts in five continents with programmes in 40 different languages produced by two hundred journalists from 61 different countries.  The output amounts to over 50 hours of simultaneous broadcasting every day and includes news, live reports of religious celebrations, in-depth programmes and music.

Vatican Radio presenter Sister Janet Fearns is a Franciscan Missionary of the Divine Motherhood.  She is a prolific communications specialist and maintains the Pause and Pray website as well a blog.  Sister Janet also writes a weekly column for The Catholic Times - available in most parishes every Sunday.
