World Day of the Sick Healing Mass

Special Healing Mass on Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes - the World Day of the Sick.
All are invited to St Nick’s by Parish Priest, Father Richard McKay and the Catholic community of Bristol’s inner-city.
This special day is dedicated by the Church to all who are sick or housebound, to all who care for them professionally or as volunteers or in their own homes as family members, to all who are involved in the healthcare services throughout the world.
Both Pope John Paul II, who established this Day of Prayer, and Pope Benedict XVI have emphasised the challenge of the inequality of healthcare provision between the rich world and the poorer developing world.
Father Richard told cliftondiocese.com: “Among other needs that we will pray for support the stricken people of Gaza and Zimbabwe. Please join us and receive healing prayer for yourself and for your world.”
