Year for Priests Prayercards and Posters

10,000 prayercards have been distributed throughout our diocese to help us take part in the Year for Priests.  You can pick up a copy in your local parish or download it from cliftondiocese.com.

The Year for Priests began on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (19 June 2009) and was instigated by Pope Benedict XVI.

You will have seen our special poster in all parishes asking you to pray for our priests.  The poster lists every priest ministering in, or for, our diocese.  You can download more copies in the multimedia panel on the right.

Our prayer for priests is now with 10,000 people following the distribution of cards throughout all our communities.  If you need further copies just download them from the multimedia panel on the right.

Father Tom Smith wrote about his thoughts on the Year for Priests earlier this week on cliftondiocese.com and we’ll hear from him next week when he talks with us in a special podcast.
